Wiseacre Brewing To Acquire Tenessee’s Bearded Iris Brewing

Today we have some Tennessee beer buyout news and it’s coming from Wiseacre Brewing and Bearded Iris Brewing. Two of Tenessee’s largest breweries will join forces as Wiseacre will buy out Bearded Iris Brewing.

Bearded Iris will continue to exist as an independent brand with their beer being brewed by Wiseacre and both breweries will maintain their taprooms.

The move came after Bearded Iris was facing the end of their Germantown lease as well as facing capacity issues in the brewhouse and Wiseacre’s recently overhauled brewing system offered them the capacity that they needed to continue to meet demand for their beers.
