Introducing Lee Hill Series
Vol. 33: Barrel Aged Kentucky Coffee Ale

An ale aged in Leopold Bros. Bourbon Barrels with Boxcar coffee

ABOUT THE BEER:
The latest installment in our cocktail-inspired series of barrel aged beers was aged in Leopold Bros. bourbon barrels and finished with a generous dose of coffee from Boxcar Coffee Roasters. Notes of freshly roasted coffee, cocoa powder, burnt sugar, and chantilly cream are supported by a syrupy body and sweet finish. This beer is ideally enjoyed as fresh as possible to present the coffee character at its best, but can be cellared to bring out other flavors during aging.

Introducing Lee Hill Series Vol. 32: Kriek Sour Ale
a Foeder-Aged Sour Ale with Balaton Cherries

ABOUT THE BEER
The latest creation to come out of our French oak foeder is inspired by the kriek lambics of Belgium. Mature sour beer is racked onto 800 pounds of Balaton® cherries and refermented for several months before packaging. The result is a beer displaying vibrant, garnet color topped with light pink foam. Notes of juicy pie cherries and wildflower honey are followed by delicate almond and Brettanomyces character with a pleasantly tart finish. Enjoy this beer fresh for maximum expression of the cherries, or cellar indefinitely for further flavor development.
