The downtown location of Thunder Canyon Brewery and Distillery has rebranded and is now operating as Brick Box Brewery as of April 2024.

A separate location, the Thunder Canyon BrewStillery, operates in the Tucson International Airport.
Brick Box Brewery (Formerly Downtown Thunder Canyon)

This location continues many of the brewing and distilling traditions of the original establishment, with a new name and some new offerings.

Offerings: Features a variety of craft beers, handcrafted rum, and other cocktails, along with a full food menu including items like katsu bowls, burgers, and appetizers.

Brick Box Brewery is the new brewery brought to you by the former General Manager of Thunder Canyon Brewery, James Owens and former head brewer Michael Nixon. After 27 years as a staple in the Tucson craft beer community, Thunder Canyon Brewery will be passing the torch to these two gentlemen. With over 15 years of experience in the craft beer industry James and Nixon set out to carry on many of the traditions and techniques learned over the years with Thunder Canyon Brewery. Plus, they set out to establish a new mindset, generate ideas, and build the Brick Box brand. Brick Box Brewery welcomes the Tucson Community to enjoy craft beverages, art, and live music with us.
