Sycamore Brewing Releases Seasonal Cider for Spring

CHARLOTTE, N.C., (April 29, 2024) – Sycamore Brewing debuts Mango Cider, a part of its seasonal spring lineup (5.7% ABV). The Charlotte-born brewery produced a cider that has big mango flavor, crisp and ideal for outdoor sipping during the warmer months.

Mango Cider is a semi-dry, unfiltered cider conditioned with mango puree and a small amount of white peach puree for complexity. The cider is fermented with a house cider yeast – a “bubbly,” dry strain that lends the cider a light body and a crisp, effervescent finish. This process allowed for a clean canvas on which to layer the fruit over.

The cider appears slightly hazy and is a light golden color. After the bold mango flavor, the taste is slightly earthy and piney in the middle, which gives way to a pleasing mixture of tartness and fruity sweetness on the back end. 

Sycamore’s Mango Cider will be available for a limited time beginning the last week of April wherever Sycamore beer is sold in 16 oz cans – 4-packs, as well as in the Sycamore Brewing taproom located in Charlotte’s South End, one of the largest tap rooms in the United States. Other seasonal spring beer releases are Spaceman Spliff IPA and Honeysuckle Ale.
