Three decades after Stone Brewing helped redefine American craft beer with its bold, hop-forward approach, the San Diego brewery is celebrating its 30th anniversary with one of its biggest events ever. Stone Brewing’s 30th Anniversary Celebration will take over Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station on Saturday, September 12, 2026, bringing together beer fans, families and longtime Stone supporters for an all-day celebration.

The biggest change for 2026 is that the anniversary festivities are no longer limited to ticket holders. Stone is opening the celebration to the public with a complimentary all-day party from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., featuring live music, arcade games, 90s movies, pet adoptions and plenty of Stone beer. For craft beer fans who want to take the celebration a step further, a limited VIP experience offers rare beers, exclusive food, special merchandise and access to areas not included with general admission.

The centerpiece for many beer enthusiasts will be the Stone 30th Anniversary Double IPA, a beer designed to showcase how American hop varieties have evolved since Stone began brewing in San Diego in 1996. The beer moves from pioneering varieties such as Centennial and Chinook through influential hops including Simcoe and Citra before finishing with newer varieties such as Krush and Thora, creating a liquid history of three decades of American hop innovation. Stone’s anniversary year has already included several special releases and events, including the return of classic beers such as Ruination IPA and Japanese Green Tea IPA.

Here is the official announcement from Stone Brewing with the complete event details, VIP information and featured anniversary beer:
