Stone Brewing Beers Debut in Puerto Rico 5/13

ESCONDIDO, CA (April 23, 2013/mbb/) – Stone Brewing Co. is pleased to announce that, beginning May 13, the San Diego, California brewing company’s beers will be available in bars, restaurants and retail outlets in Puerto Rico for the very first time. Known for its flavorful and hop-centric ales, Stone will distribute its bold beers throughout the Isle of Enchantment via Craft Beer Distributors Puerto Rico. To celebrate, Stone will host meet-and-greet beer tastings, a food-and-beer pairing event and flight samplers of Stone beers at bars and restaurants in select Puerto Rico cities May 14 through 17.
“After taking a recent trip to Puerto Rico, I found interest in craft beer was far greater than what I expected,” said Stone Senior Vice President of Sales Arlan Arnsten. “Retailers, restaurants and bars are devoting space to craft beer, and people are eager to taste and learn more about these special brews. We had been interested in entering the Puerto Rico market for some time but needed a distributor that understood the importance of promoting artisanal craft beer. We selected Craft Beer Distributors Puerto Rico because they are passionate and diligent about spreading awareness for craft beer throughout the island. Puerto Rico joins 37 states, Washington, D.C. and five countries where Stone beers are distributed. All nine year-round Stone beers will be distributed in select Puerto Rico cities. Stone Brewing Co. beers soon to be available will include:
