Sierra Nevada Planning New IPA 12-Pack For March To Include Experimental Dwarf Hops “Snow Wit & The Seven Dwarf Hops”

I looks like Sierra Nevada will be releasing a new IPA 12-pack in March 2014.  The pack will include Torpedo, Nooner Session IPA, Blindfold Black IPA as well as Snow Wit & The Seven Dwarf Hops.  I’ve received a LOT of tips on this one and we finally have at least some confirmation from Bill Manley @ Sierra Nevada:

OK yes, this is a bad pun, but there’s a little more to it than that. Over the past few years, we’ve been messing around with some newly developed dwarf hop varietals. These are hops grown on a shorter hedgerow rather than the tall trellis systems typical to hop growers. The resulting cones are smaller and have much different flavor profiles than their full-grown counterparts. We’re especially interested in seven of these new dwarf varietals. Most don’t have names yet, just numbers, and have really crazy flavor profiles. Dill, anise, passionfruit, violet…crazy.

And really, we coincidentally ended up with seven dwarf hop varietals we like…how could we NOT jump on that pun!
