Shmaltz Brewery Presents Schenectady County Community College Foundation w/ Check From Fundraising Effort for “Brewers Wanted Pale Ale”

Clifton Park, NY — Shmaltz Brewery will present a $1,500 check to the Schenectady County Community College (SCCC) Foundation on Thursday, April 21 at 2:30 p.m. at Shmaltz Brewery at 6 Fairchild Park in Clifton Park. This donation resulted from sales of Shmaltz’ special brew, "Brewers Wanted," which served as a fundraiser for the SCCC Brewing training program that is underway, and also for the development of an Associate’s Degree program.
SUNY recently approved SCCC’s plans to start an Associate’s Degree and a certificate program in brewing in the fall. College officials will be available to discuss this exciting and unique development, as well as the current training program and this generous donation from Shmaltz.
