Saint Archer Releasing Limited Mosaic Double IPA

From the heart of the booming San Diego craft beer scene, Saint Archer Brewing Company is ecstatic about releasing the Mosaic Double IPA, the newest edition to its hop forward offerings. This limited Double IPA pays tribute to the wonderful characteristics of this hop. Our Mosaic Double IPA showcases complex aromatic notes of citrus, berry, tropical fruit, and pine. We have also layered in Amarillo, Simcoe, and Chinook to highlight the wonderful hop that is, Mosaic.

Saint Archer launched in 2013 with a Blonde/Kolsch-Style Ale, a Pale Ale and an IPA, because those are the styles their Brewers and Ambassadors reach for most often. More recent editions like the White Ale have made Saint Archer a stand-out in the craft beer market by winning Gold at The Great American Beer Festival in 2014. The release of the Mosaic Double IPA takes a bold lead in the Double IPA game.

Mosaic IPA by the Numbers

· Mosaic Double IPA will be available in 22oz bottles and on draft March 11^th at Saint Archer’s tasting room located at 9550 Distribution Ave, San Diego, CA, 92121. It will also be available on March 15^th to select retailers.

Mosaic is the first born child of Simcoe. Some have described it as Citra on steroids, but it’s much more than that; rich in mango, lemon, citrus, earthy pine, tropical fruit, herbal and stone fruit notes. With Mosaic hops and a compelling trio of Amarillo, Simcoe, and Chinook – this Mosaic Double IPA is to be a sure winner in any Double IPA enthusiast’s book.

Head Brewer Kim Lutz is no stranger to the bliss of a Double India Pale Ale and has several medals over the past year to prove it. Her years in Hawaii experimenting with fresh, local ingredients are also on full display in Saint Archer’s new Mosaic Double IPA.

“Here at Saint Archer, we love all hops, but we definitely have our favorites. Mosaic is one of them,” explains Lutz, “This Double IPA is meant to showcase this hop as we see it. With huge notes of citrus, berry and pine, this beer will familiarize any drinker with the wonderful hop Mosaic.”
