I’ve been driving for more than a few years, and as anyone knows, cars do break down. Whether it’s in your own garage or on the side of a dark road in January, breakdowns will happen when you least expect them. With that in mind, a few years ago, I added a new name-brand device to the trunk of my car. The device was a rechargeable tire inflator and battery jump starter. It didn’t take long to get a chance to test it when I had a flat tire, and much to my disappointment, it simply didn’t work. This popular brand quickly died before my tire was inflated, and even overheated while I was trying to use it. Add in that the device was heavier than a bowling ball and bigger than a breadbox, and it was time to upgrade to something better.

I’m talking about the Gekogear AirFlux 300, and I think you’ll find that this new device solves a lot of potential car problems, and it will fit in your glovebox. The AirFlux 300 is a compact, portable device that not only inflates your tires, but jump-starts your car too.Gekogear AirFlux 300

Here are the details from Adesso, the makers of the AirFlux 300:

AirFlux 300: The Ultimate 2-in-1 Portable Air Pump & Jump Starter

The AirFlux 300 is a powerhouse of functionality, combining a high-performance air pump with a vehicle jump starter. Equipped with a robust 12000mAh rechargeable battery, this device is designed for drivers seeking a reliable, multi-purpose tool for roadside emergencies and everyday use.

Key Features:

Dual Functionality: Inflates tires for cars, bicycles, and sports equipment while also serving as a jump starter for vehicles, making it an essential companion for road trips.

Digital Display: Features an easy-to-read digital display with preset pressure settings for precise inflation.

Automatic Shut-Off: Prevents overinflation by stopping at the user’s preset pressure, ensuring tire safety and optimal performance.

Compact and Portable: Lightweight design for easy storage in a glove compartment or backpack.

Built-in USB Ports: Doubles as a power bank to charge devices, enhancing its utility for emergencies and daily use.

The AirFlux 300 offers unmatched versatility, combining tire inflation and vehicle jump-starting capabilities in one compact device. Its user-friendly design and multi-functional features provide peace of mind for drivers, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone in need of a reliable power solution on the go. The AirFlux 300 delivers premium functionality at an accessible price point, making it a must-have for safety-conscious consumers.

Let’s see how the AirFlux works in some real-world situations, so off we go…

Before I started any testing, I charged the AirFlux 300 for about 4 hours. The device reached full charge much more quickly than four hours, but I wanted to be sure my testing was based on a full charge.

Thankfully, I don’t have a vehicle with a dead battery, but I did try it out on a friend’s truck that’s been parked for two months with a dead battery. First up, I should mention that the AirFlux 300 has multiple protections built in to prevent a short circuit, any high temperatures, any low temperatures, over discharge, overload, low voltage, high voltage, a reversed connection, and even overcharge. This makes the process of jump-starting a car safe and bulletproof.

On my first attempt to jump-start the test car, I intentionally cross-connected the AirFlux 300 jumper cables, and the device immediately warned me that I had made a mistake. I should also mention that the battery clamps are even spark-proof, so no scary sparks were generated in my testing and with my cross connection.

I’ll admit that with the test battery being dead for so long, I wasn’t expecting a device the size of a few slices of bread to start a truck, but I was wrong. The truck not only cranked, but turned over and started in about 5 seconds! I was shocked (pardon my pun) that the truck started on the first try with the Gekogear AirFlux 300, but it did.

Up next, I decided to test out the inflation function of the AirFlux 300. I started small with a soccer ball (the pin is included), and it worked flawlessly. The AirFlux 300 comes with preset inflation settings (motorbikes, bicycle tires, car tires, sports balls) as well as manual settings, allowing the device to automatically stop when the desired pressure is reached. From there, I decided to deflate a car tire and see how long it takes to re-inflate with the AirFlux 300. The tire easily inflated in less than three minutes and shut off by itself….and keep in mind this was all done on the same charge that I used to jump start the truck.

If that’s not enough to make you want to carry an AirFlux 300 in your car, the device also includes an SOS flashing light to help make your roadside repairs safe, AND it can also charge your electronic devices since it acts as a 45W portable power bank too. I did test out these features, and the AirFlux 300 easily lit up a dark location and charged my phone at the same time.

The AirFlux 300 includes a storage bag, an inflation hose, a charging cable, a sports ball needle, a presta valve for bicycle tires, and a battery clamp for jump-starting. The device can inflate to a maximum pressure of 160 PSI at 25-28 L/minute, it has a start/peak current of 500A/1000A, and the light can flash or remain on.Gekogear AirFlux 300

Overall, I can happily say that my old device will now be gathering dust in the basement, and the Gekogear AirFlux 300 has found a permanent place in my car. The jump-start function is amazing; the inflation of everything from car tires to soccer balls is quick and easy, the device can light your way on a dark night, and the device can even recharge your phone or other electronics. The AirFlux 300 performs all sorts of essential functions for any car owner, and I know that when you try it for yourself, you’ll agree.

The Gekogear AirFLux 300 is available at this link, so be sure to try it out for yourselfl
