Peter E. Hart is a family-owned, non-distilling producer of Kentucky bourbon and rye whiskey, founded by descendants of the brand’s namesake. Sergeant Peter E. Hart was a Union cavalryman who fought in the Civil War’s Battle of Perryville, Kentucky, near the family’s farm.

The company currently sources and blends its whiskeys with bottling operations handled at Left Bank Whiskey in Louisville. The family, which includes distiller Aaron Haynes, plans to transition to distilling its own spirits in the future.
