Nearest Green Distillery in Shelbyville, TN, is the first distillery in the United States to honor an African-American whiskey maker, Nathan “Nearest” Green. Often called “Malt Disney World,” the 432-acre property is a major tourist destination that celebrates Tennessee whiskey, walking horses, and music. Historical Significance
