Mybeerbuzz .com Highlights The Pamu Slide 2 Earbuds

For many years I used good-old wired headphones, and whether that was for exercising outdoors, or handling phone calls on the go, these were the only choice. Jump ahead more than a few years and everyone is using wireless Bluetooth earbuds, me included…and today I have some exciting earbuds for you to check out.

As someone that exercises 6-days a week with earbuds, I can say I’ve tried them all. Having music to motivate me when running, but still being able to jump on a phone call without missing a beat has made me keenly aware of what makes for a good set of earbuds, and I can say that today I may have found a new favorite.Mybeerbuzz .com Highlights The Pamu Slide 2 Earbuds

Today I’ll be test-driving the new Pamu Slide 2 and if you’re not familiar, these earbuds come from Padmate, a company known for high quality earbuds.

The Pamu Slide 2 has some great features:

  • Pamu Second-gen Digital Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation technology. Reduce noise up to 45dB, noise reduction bandwidth 20-2000Hz. Cancels noise from airports, subways, cars and crowds, so you can focus on what you are doing.  Using a new AINR algorithm, 6 microphones and a noise-canceling algorithm isolate vocals from background noise and wind. For people with hearing loss, the RHE intelligent algorithm, human voice band gaining, dialogue noise reduction, whistle suppression and other individual algorithms, so as to reduce the ambient sound, strengthen the human voice band to achieve hearing enhancement, up to -30dB gain, achieve the function of auxiliary listening, to meet the needs of people with hearing loss
  • Powerful, Punchy Bass – Drop the bass with 10mm dynamic drivers that go deeper and stronger.PEN ensures a natural and full mid&low frequency, while Titanium makes the high-frequency sound more clear. The PEN & Titanium composite membrane helps deliver an unprecedented performance with beautiful balance across the full frequency range.
  • The ergonomic design that fits your ear perfectly and a pressure released vent to adjust the pressure difference between inside and outside for balance, no stethoscope effect, making them more comfortable to wear.Using food-grade silicone earplugs with 3 size options, more personal, skin-friendly and safe.
  • 26 hours of listening time – Multiple additional charges in the case. Up to 6.5 hours of listening time – One single charge of the wireless earbuds.Enjoy your earbuds the entire day, without missing a beat.
  • Set your touch control in the PaMu app.You get to decide how to play your music and interact with your voice assistant in the app with personal settings.Free your hands with your earbuds in.
  • The power of Dual Connect gives you the choice to seamlessly enjoy music or make calls with either one or both buds. The built-in sensors will automatically detect and pause music when your earbuds are removed and resume when you put them back on. Jump back in right where you left off.
  • 80ms Ultra-low latency Gaming Mode to ensure a reliable transmission with near-zero delay, making the earbuds ideal for playing games and watching videos.
  • Easy touch control brings you a more comfortable and convenient experience to answer phones, switch songs, and activate the voice assistant without operating your mobile devices. Auto Play / Pause The built-in infrared sensors will automatically pause music when your earbuds are removed and resume when you put them back on. Jump back in right where you left off.Mybeerbuzz .com Highlights The Pamu Slide 2 Earbuds

I like to start my earbud reviews with look, feel and fit, and I can say the Pamu Slide 2 looks great. The design is sleek and modern and they come in black, white or green colors. The charging case has to be one of the best looking cases I’ve ever seen; and it’s the perfect size to carry with you.

The Pamu Slide 2 comes with three different food-grade silicone earplugs allowing you to not only find the perfect fit, but also keep the earbuds in your ears. One of the most annoying things you can experience when running is having an earbud fall out, but after over 45-miles, I can say the Pamu Slide 2 simply never fell out. I should also mention that these earbuds feel extremely lightweight and that made them really comfortable; so lightweight and comfortable they felt like they weren’t even in your ears.

Next up, I tested pairing the Pamu Slide 2 earbuds to my iPod and my Samsung phone. In both cases, the Bluetooth 5.2 made for fast and reliable pairing on both devices. The easy touch controls also made using the Pamu Slide 2 effortless to control my volume, music and phone calls with simple taps and swipes. I also loved the auto play/pause feature that pauses your music when you pull an earbud out and it resumes the music when you put them back in. This worked really well in the gym when people talk to you unexpectedly and it made listening to music extremely convenient in crowded environments.

As far as quality, the Pamu Slide 2 earbuds simply sound great. The bass is booming, the treble punches through nicely and the ability to easily control the volume from song to song made for a really great listening experience. On phone calls the voice enhancement sounds amazing and the Active Noise Cancellation did a great job with traffic noise, wind noise and even just the drone of other people talking in the background. This made my outdoor runs peaceful and my phone calls clear and concise.Mybeerbuzz .com Highlights The Pamu Slide 2 Earbuds

The battery life for me was what I would call way above average. Padmate claims 26-hours of playback (with the charging case) and 6.5-hours of playback time (without the charging case) which I’d say was pretty accurate. I ran for over an hour for 6-days straight with plenty of battery left and ultimately made it through several weeks without charging the case. I should also mention that the charging case can charge wirelessly using a standard cell phone wireless charger and the blue charge indicator on the bottom of the case looks great.

If that’s not enough fun, the Pamu Slide 2 now has an App that you can use to customize the touch controls, check your battery life, manage your Bluetooth connections and install software updates for new features coming in the future.

I can also confirm that the Pamu Slide 2 are IPX4 waterproof because on day two of running with them, I hit a surprise rainstorm and they were perfectly fine even when wet.

As I mentioned earlier, the Padmate Pamu Slide 2 earbuds have already become my new favorite earbuds. The look, fit and feel are amazing and the sound of music and phone call voices is the best I’ve every heard in a Bluetooth earbud. Overall the above features combined great battery life, easy charging, easy customizable controls, auto play/pause and reliable connecting and performance make for a really great set of earbuds and a set I know you’ll enjoy too.

The Pamu Slide Indiegogo campaign is underway now so be sure to check it out and try the Pamu Slide 2 earbuds for yourself. And when you do try them, be sure to let us know what YOU think.
