Louise West Coast Pilsner is Ground Breaker’s Late Summer Release
Ground Breaker Brewing is bringing one of its increasingly popular seasonal beers back for late summer, giving gluten-free craft beer drinkers another opportunity to enjoy Louise West Coast Pilsner. Originally introduced in 2025, Louise combines the clean, crisp character of a traditional pilsner with the modern hop profile of a West Coast-style beer.
This year’s Louise gets an especially interesting hop update with Lórien, a hop variety developed by Indie Hops and Oregon State University. Designed specifically with crisp, lower-gravity lagers in mind, Lórien brings aromas and flavors of zest, melon, sweet hay and wildflowers while allowing the underlying malt character to remain part of the drinking experience.
At 4.9% ABV, Louise West Coast Pilsner occupies a particularly appealing spot for late-summer beer drinking. It offers enough hop character to satisfy fans of modern American craft beer without sacrificing the refreshing, clean profile expected from a pilsner. The return also highlights Ground Breaker’s continued effort to bring innovative beer styles to the dedicated gluten-free craft beer community.
