Some great news coming from our pal Joe Percoco:
Friends, relations, and distant drunken acquaintances…
I regret to inform you that I will be retiring from my job as Head Brewer of Funk Brewing Company on May 31st. I enjoyed my time there, and we had a good run.
However, I am pleased to announce that Laura and I have just launched our own brewery, Sole Artisan Ales
We promise to give you top quality Artisan Beer, without any gimmicks.
Sole will remain community oriented, and dedicated to supporting area artisans and producers. We will source numerous local and seasonal ingredients throughout the year to use in our brewing process.
Over the next month and a half we will be working round the clock to prepare for the launch of our two core beers; "Clink!"- our Double Dry Hopped Session Ale, and "Green Life" – our intensely hopped IPA.
Our beer will be available in 17 Counties in Pennsylvania through Shangy’s in Bottles and Kegs. Look for beer on the shelf in early June.
As we grow, over the next few months we will be adding New Jersey, NYC, and Washington DC.
Please check us out, through the plethora of quirky social media vehicles that exist today…
