Label Text Everybody’s Brewing Hide & Sneaky:
“Dark, smooth, and a little mischievous. Layers of chocolate, caramel, and a whisper of coffee draw you in, while a chewy, full body and a touch of brown sugar keep you hooked. With its gentle roasted finish, this one has a way of disappearing before you know it.”
About Everybody’s Brewing:
Everybody’s Brewing (White Salmon, Washington)
Everybody’s Brewing is an independent craft brewery and brewpub located in White Salmon, Washington, perched above the Columbia River Gorge with sweeping views of Mount Hood. Founded in 2008, the brewery is known for its inclusive, community‑focused ethos, approachable yet flavorful beers, and locally sourced food.
Founders & Origins
Everybody’s Brewing was founded by Doug Ellenberger and Christine McAleer. Doug brought professional brewing experience from Lafayette Brewing Company (Indiana) and Full Sail Brewing in Hood River, Oregon, while Christine came from a background in social work and hospitality. The two met while working at Full Sail and shared a vision of opening a business centered on community, hospitality, and craft beer.
After several years of planning and groundwork, they opened Everybody’s Brewing in September 2008 in downtown White Salmon, transforming a historic building into a welcoming brewpub. Brewing operations followed shortly after, with the brewery fully producing its own beer by 2009.
Philosophy & Community Focus
The name “Everybody’s” is intentional. The brewery emphasizes inclusivity, accessibility, and the shared human experience, positioning itself as a place where everyone is welcome—locals, travelers, families, and beer enthusiasts alike. Rather than chasing exclusivity or hype, Everybody’s focuses on balance, drinkability, and connection.
This philosophy extends beyond beer into:
A family‑friendly brewpub environment
Locally sourced ingredients in both beer and food
Regular live music and community events
A strong commitment to staff culture and long‑term employees
Beer Style & Brewing Approach
Everybody’s Brewing is best known for producing approachable, well‑balanced beers that appeal to a broad audience while still satisfying craft beer fans. Their lineup typically includes:
IPAs (classic, hazy, fresh hop, and session styles)
Stouts and porters, including oatmeal and imperial variants
Lagers and pilsners designed for drinkability
Seasonal and experimental releases, including sours and specialty beers
Well‑known beers associated with the brewery include:
Country Boy IPA
Cash Stout (Oatmeal Stout)
Local Logger Lager
Early Riser Easy IPA
Foggy Goggles Hazy IPA
Their beers are distributed primarily throughout Washington, with some presence in Oregon and Northern Idaho, while many releases remain pub‑focused or limited.
The Brewpub Experience
The White Salmon location sits on Jewett Boulevard and features:
A large outdoor deck with panoramic Gorge and Mount Hood views
A full food menu that goes beyond standard pub fare, including vegetarian and vegan options
A relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that reflects the brewery’s community‑first mindset
The food program is often highlighted alongside the beer, reinforcing the idea that Everybody’s Brewing is as much a gathering place as it is a brewery.
Growth & Expansion
After a decade of steady growth, Everybody’s Brewing moved into a new, larger custom‑built facility adjacent to its original location in 2018, allowing for expanded brewing capacity and a larger restaurant space.
In 2024, the company expanded further with a second location in southwest Washington, Everybody’s at Northwood in Battle Ground, reinforcing their long‑term commitment to community‑centered spaces and independent ownership.
Why Everybody’s Brewing Stands Out
Everybody’s Brewing has earned its reputation not through hype, but through consistency, hospitality, and authenticity. It represents a Pacific Northwest brewery that prioritizes:
Balance over extremes
Community over exclusivity
Long‑term relationships over trends
That approach has made it a destination brewery in the Columbia River Gorge and a respected name in Washington craft beer.
