As it continues to celebrate over 130 years of music history, Gibson, the iconic global instrument brand is inviting music fans are invited to stop in and discover a vast array of young talent performing live this month at the Gibson Garage London including Annie Maguire, Marcus Bonfanti, Samuel Ashton, and Tom A Smith.
All Gibson Garage London Acoustic Sessions performances are live, free, and open to the public from the state-of-the-art stage located on the lower level of the Gibson Garage London. The ultimate music experience, the Gibson Garage London marks the first Gibson flagship store outside of the U.S. and is located at 61-62 Eastcastle St, London, UK just off Oxford Street.
A vibrant addition to the London music community, the Gibson Garage London features a live stage with regular music performances, special events, and album release parties from both emerging and established artists for music fans to enjoy. Every month there are new events and shows to experience inside the Gibson Garage.
Gibson Garage London Acoustic Sessions are a partnership between the Gibson Garage and Busk In London—the London-based busking programme, launched by the Mayor of London and managed by Found in Music–which is the city’s leading programme supporting the music, live performances and careers of buskers. Every month, the Gibson Garage London Acoustic Sessions showcase artists who perform their music on celebrated Gibson acoustics which are all handcrafted by the expert luthiers at Gibson’s acoustic craftory in Bozeman, Montana. The Gibson Garage London flagship store also features a special, dedicated Acoustic guitar room with one of the largest display of storied Gibson Acoustic guitars throughout the entire UK, as well as a special area for Epiphone acoustics including the premium and popular Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom guitars.

Marcus Bonfanti is an award-winning singer, guitarist and songwriter from London. He was the guitarist and vocalist with legendary British rock and roll band Ten Years Aſter for a decade releasing three albums. He also fronts The Ronnie Scott’s Blues Explosion monthly residency now
into its 17th year at the prestigious London venue. 2X-winner of the British Blues Award for “Best Acoustic Performer” and “Best Songwriter” as well as countless nominations in other categories,
Bonfanti has released three critically acclaimed solo albums and toured the world with his own band, as well as other artists. He has worked with Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Tom Jones, PP Arnold, Robben Ford, Ginger Baker, Ronnie Wood, Paul Carri!, Phil Manzanera, David Gilmore, Lulu, Jay Buchanan, Tom McGuinness, Jim Cregan, The Yardbirds, Fisherman’s Friends, Izo Fitzroy, Johnny Hates Jazz, Jason Donovan, The Selecter, Daniel Beddingfield, The Wanted, Rebecca Ferguson, Adam Lambert, Cliff Richard, Bernie Marsden, Eric Burdon, Sarah Jane Morris, Findlay Brown, Kristina Train, Roachford.
For the last five years Bonfanti has been heavily involved with The Spitz Music Charity, an organisation that creates opportunities for musicians to go into Care Homes, Hospitals and Children’s Hospitals to perform for and write songs with the residents and patients. More recently, he has also become involved with The Prison Choir Project helping to run choirs and songwriting projects in some of the prisons across the UK as part of rehabilitation programs.

21-year-old singer songwriter from Sunderland, UK, Tom A Smith it has been recently announced that Tom will play Dave Stewart in a musical biopic titled Ebony McQueen set to film in the city next year with Fulwell 73 productions.
Buzz continues to build for the young singer-songwriter, who was nominated for “Most Played New Independent Artist,” by the Association of Independent Music Awards (AIM) and recently signed to the legendary UK label, Fiction Records, alongside The Cure and Tame Impala.
Smith has performed live since the age of 12, sold out shows at the local venue The Fire Station, and joined legends such as Sam Fender on stage. Smith–plays both acoustic and electric solo in addition to his band, which is rounded out by Katie Anderson (bass), Dylan Abbot (guitar), and Fraser Graham (drums), and has played most major UK festivals including Glastonbury, Leeds, and BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend. He’s been hand-picked to support artists such as Catfish & The Bottlemen, Courteeners, James, The Lathums, Gang of Youths, Miles Kane, Billy Bragg, and DMA’s – plus Smith was personally invited to open for Elton John at Hyde Park.
Smith has written and produced songs with Miles Kane and Hugo White (The Maccabees / 86TVs), Apple Music’s Up Next Artist, and he has performed on Soccer AM, MOTD X and Sunday Brunch UK TV shows. Smith is also currently playlisted on Absolute Radio and Radio X with enthusiastic support from presenters including Jack Saunders, Chris Hawkins, John Kennedy, Jordan North and Greg James.
