This is Limon IPA from Evolution Craft Brewing in Salisbury, MD.    This IPA is brewed with lemon and lime and the beer hits 6.8%-AbV and 65 IBU.  This is the 12oz bottle and stay tuned for release info.   We also have Day Crush Session Sour Ale (12oz cans, 4.7%-AbV, 8 IBU).  Evolution tells me Day Crush will be draft-only coming in mid-July 2018.Evolution Craft Brewing - Limon IPA & Day Crush Session Sour

About Paste Magazine & the tasting: With more than 8 million
unique monthly visitors, Paste prides itself on great writing about
music, film, art, sports, food & drink and much more. With an
exceptional beer section, Paste often does blind taste tasting for
different styles of beer. Pilsner is the world’s most widely
consumed, most widely copied and emulated beer style, so it was
no surprise that this tasting had 134 submissions to see who
ranked best.

To enter, Evolution mailed in a few bottles of DelMarVa Pure Pils to
Paste headquarters. Each entry was judged by a panel of
professional beer writers, brewery owners, brewmasters and beer
reps. Beers were judged completely blind by how enjoyable they
were as individual experiences and given scores of 1-100, which
were then averaged. Entries were judged by how much they
enjoyed them for whatever reason, not by how well they fit any kind
of preconceived style guidelines. As such, this is not a BJCP-style
tasting.

About DelMarVa Pure Pils: Evolution’s Salisbury brewery sits
above a pure aquifer. Since water is the main ingredient in beer,
adding pure eastern shore water is said to be what makes this
DelMarVa pure pils so delicious. It’s a little bit on the sweeter side
than some of the others, with a hop-forward profile that balances elements of green grassiness and
florals, but also more than a little bit of citrus, with almost a tiny bit of “juice.” Although it’s more hop than
malt-forward, each element of its hoppiness is well balanced with the next, helping the final product
appear multi-dimensional. Or as one score sheet put it, “not too much of anything, just balanced, tasty
hoppiness.” Stop by your local beer & wine store to grab a six-pack to try for yourself!

About Evolution Craft Brewery: Evolution Craft Brewing Co., the leader of the Culinary Craft Beer
movement, was founded by Tom and John Knorr in 2009. The brewery started in Delmar, Delaware and
moved to Salisbury, Maryland in 2012 to meet growing demand. Evolution’s inspiration was born out of
the Knorr brothers’ passion for pairing the great food at their restaurants with great craft beers.
