Cox Creek Distilling is set to turn heads with its latest premium release: Old Zach Rare Cask Finish 9 Year Double Oaked Bourbon Whiskey. Crafted for bourbon enthusiasts who appreciate depth, character, and meticulous barrel work, this expression showcases the distillery’s commitment to small‑batch craftsmanship and elevated flavor development.

Old Zach Rare Cask Finish Double Oaked Bourbon Whiskey begins with a classic Kentucky‑style bourbon
foundation before undergoing a second maturation in specially selected oak barrels. This double‑oaked process intensifies the whiskey’s natural richness, amplifying notes of caramelized sugar, toasted oak, warm baking spice, and deep vanilla. The rare cask finishing adds an additional layer of complexity, giving the bourbon a bold, refined profile that stands out in today’s crowded premium whiskey market.

Designed for collectors and serious bourbon drinkers alike, this release highlights the growing reputation of Cox Creek Distilling as a producer of high‑quality, limited‑edition American whiskey. With its combination of double‑oak aging, rare cask finishing, and a flavor profile built for sipping, Old Zach Rare Cask Finish Bourbon is positioned to become a sought‑after bottle for anyone exploring the upper tier of modern bourbon craftsmanship.

About Cox Creek Distilling:

Coxs Creek Distilling Company is a family-owned craft distillery in Cox’s Creek, Kentucky, that specializes in a hands-on, personalized approach to bourbon. Founded around 2020 by a group of bourbon enthusiasts, the company focuses on unique finishing techniques and direct consumer engagement rather than mass production.

Visiting the Distillery
Located in the heart of bourbon country, the distillery is known for its interactive atmosphere.
Location: 6628 Clermont Rd, Coxs Creek, KY 40013.
Hours: Monday through Saturday, 10 AM – 4 PM; closed on Sundays.

The Ultimate Barrel Pick Experience: For $149.99, visitors can sample six different finishes from a selection of over 40 barrels, choose their favorite, and bottle it themselves.

Atmosphere: Reviewers frequently highlight the personalized attention from the distillers and the “not-scripted” nature of the tastings.

Spirit Portfolio & Brands
The distillery manages several distinct labels, often using sourced bourbon and rye that is then custom-finished in various casks.

Good Times Bourbon: The flagship brand, known for bold and experimental finishes like blueberry brandy, Mexican vanilla, or toasted maple.

Old Rick Barrel Company: Targeted at traditionalists, offering premium, unfinished spirits at high proofs, including “hazmat-proof” levels.

Old Zach: Features uncut, unfiltered Kentucky straight bourbon.

Bridle & Bit: A smooth Indiana wheated bourbon (45% wheat mash bill).
Casa Good Times: A unique fusion brand featuring agave spirits aged in fresh bourbon barrels.

Additional Programs
Monthly Whiskey Club: A subscription service starting at $119.99/month (plus shipping) that delivers curated 750ml bottles to members.

Custom Labels: The distillery allows customers and clubs to help design custom front labels for their specific barrel picks.

Note that Coxs Creek is also home to major facilities for Four Roses (warehousing and bottling) and Heaven Hill (large-scale aging warehouses), which are separate entities from Coxs Creek Distilling Company.
