Cape May Brewing Company in Cape May, New Jersey is preparing to release a new collaboration beer that pays tribute to one of America’s most historic seaside destinations. The upcoming release is called The Blue Pig Tavern American Pale Ale, brewed in honor of Congress Hall and its iconic Blue Pig Tavern, located in the heart of Cape May.

This American Pale Ale is designed to celebrate the legacy of America’s first seaside resort, blending Cape May Brewing’s coastal craft beer expertise with the rich history of Congress Hall. The beer will feature a balanced, hop‑forward profile and land at a sessionable 5% ABV, making it an easy‑drinking option for beachgoers, history buffs, and pale ale fans.

The Blue Pig Tavern APA will be packaged in 12‑oz cans, complete with artwork that reflects the charm and character of Cape May’s historic district. The collaboration aims to highlight the connection between local hospitality, craft beer culture, and the enduring appeal of Cape May as a destination.

A Tribute to Cape May’s Historic Roots
Congress Hall has stood as a symbol of American seaside leisure since the early 1800s, and the Blue Pig Tavern has long been a favorite spot for locals and visitors. By teaming up with Cape May Brewing, this collaboration beer brings together two beloved institutions to create a product that’s both flavorful and meaningful.

The release of The Blue Pig Tavern American Pale Ale continues Cape May Brewing’s tradition of crafting beers that celebrate local landmarks, seasonal experiences, and community partnerships.

Stay tuned for full release  details, tasting notes, and availability updates as Cape May Brewing prepares to launch this historic collaboration in Spring 2026.

I’ve also added in the non-collaboration Sunny Stand passionfruit wheat ale (5.2%-AbV, 12-oz cans)

Label Text Cape May Brewing The Blue Pig Tavern American Pale Ale:

“In an iconic setting along Cape May’s famous beachfront, Congress Hall is a true American classic; relaxed yet elegant, luxurious yet fun. Crafted by Cape May Brewing Company for America’s first seaside resort, this American Pale Ale is made to match the Congress Hall experience. Refreshing, inviting, and vibrant with citrusy Moyueka hops, this classic brew is what vacation tastes like.”2026 Cape May Sunny Stand 12-oz Cans
