Hoppy Wheat Ale

This hoppy wheat ale was brewed with 100% Washington grown and malted grains. We then hopped this with Washington grown hops to really put some "terroir" to the beer. The addition of California orange peel and German Yeast round this beer out to be a refreshing preview of summer.

While this beer is more hop forward than your typical wheat ale, it is not bitter or astringent. The goal was to get more flavor and aromatics from the hops, instead of the extreme bitterness.

Brewed by Old Schoolhouse Brewing head brewer Kyle and Black Raven head brewer Beaux in April of 2018. This was brewed in Winthrop at the Old Schoolhouse Brewery.
