Track Suit IPA will clock in at a sessionable 4.2% ABV, making it an easy‑drinking IPA that still delivers bright hop aromatics and a clean, modern flavor profile. About Celis Brewery:

Celis Brewery is widely recognized as Austin’s first craft brewery, originally founded in 1992 by Belgian brewing legend Pierre Celis. After a 17-year hiatus following its sale to Miller Brewing and subsequent closure in 2001, the brewery was revived in 2017 by Pierre’s daughter, Christine Celis, and his granddaughter, Daytona Camps. 

Core Identity & History

The Legend of Pierre Celis: Pierre is credited with resurrecting the nearly extinct Belgian Witbier style in the 1960s in Hoegaarden, Belgium.

The Austin Connection: Pierre moved to Austin in the early 90s, famously “smuggling” his original Belgian yeast strain in his socks to ensure his Texas brews stayed authentic.

The Rebirth: The modern brewery operates out of a 22,000-square-foot facility in North Austin, using original recipes and the same proprietary yeast strain.

Taproom & Beer Garden: The taproom features a centerpiece bar made from one of Pierre’s original massive copper kettles from the 1990s.

On-Site Amenities: The facility is dog-friendly and often hosts food trucks (such as a Michelin-recognized taco truck) and local events like movie nights and card shows.
