Avery Brewing Spontanea & Einzigartig Join The Barrel-Aged Series 12/14

You’ll see these beers much later on the web after the others “borrow” them from mybeerbuzz.com, so be sure to tell your friends where you saw these first. This morning to get to see release # 25 AND release # 25 in the Avery Brewing Barrel-Aged series of beers. Spontanea (#24) is an ale brewed with Cabernet Sauvignon grape must that is aged in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels. This beer uses wild yeast found on the skins of the grapes only (no additional yeast). There will be 100 cases released at the brewery and 65 cases hoarded. Look for Spontanea to be packaged in 12oz bottle (on Oct 15th) and the beer will come in at 9.58% ABV.
Einzigartig (#25) is an ale brewed with Riesling grape must that is aged in neutral Cabernet Sauvignon barrels. Einzigartig (German for “unique”) will be limited to 188 cases with 116 released at the brewery and 72 hoarded. This beer will be packaged in 12oz bottles (on Oct 15th) and it comes in at 10.13% ABV.

Our very own Parker, of the cartoon and cat loving variety, created this cult classic character back in our 17th season. Appearing in several episodes under another stage name that was deemed inappropriate, our executive producers and editors decided that a name change and further character development–a 4-month hiatus in Bourbon barrels–were necessary to satisfy our most ardent and demanding viewers. 17.81% ALC/VOL
Bottle sales at the Avery Tap Room Release Party begin at 1pm. Bottles are $12 each, 1 case limit per person.
