Avery Barrel-Aged Series – Ruminate Rum Barrel Dubbel (2 Versions)

Here’s an interesting “twist” (see what I did there?) coming to the Avery Brewing Barrel-Aged Series of beers.  Today we get to see release No 38 (and 38.1) and the beer will be named Ruminate.  This beer is a Rum barrel-aged dubbel and there will also be a 2nd version that is a Rum barrel-aged dubbel with orange zest added.  Ruminate will be packaged in a limited run of 690 12oz bottles on May 30th and the beer will hit 10%-AbV.  Stay tuned to see if they release two beers as No 38 or if Avery is hedging their bets with label approval and we’ll only see one or the other.
