Appalachian Brewing Co To Open New Brewpub In Mechanicsburg, PA

The Harrisburg-based craft brewer with six brewpubs, including those in Collegeville, Lititz and Gettysburg, plans to open a brewpub at the former Sutliff Hummer at 6462 Carlisle Pike.

Appalachian Brewing purchased the 26,000-square-foot building which will be converted into a brewpub and grill. Renovations are expected to begin this month with an opening targeted for as early as this year or early 2014, said Artie Tafoya, the brewery’s director of operations.
