Alaskan Brewing – Construction Update, Smoked Porter Vintage Pack & Pilot Series Double Black IPA Returns

At this time our new building could be part of a Hollywood set. The front of the building (left picture) is finished, but there is still a lot of work to be done. All of the underground work is complete and the contractors are now working on asphalt paving of the north lot and preparing to pour the concrete slab inside the new building. Half of the roof is installed and we should be completely out of the weather in about three weeks. Hopefully winter will wait for us.

You can now experience this flavor development with our Smoked Porter Vintage Pack. This personal vertical tasting will also be released on November 1st and features our 2008 and 2013 (our recent GABF medal winner) Smoked Porter, as well as two awesome Smoked Porter tulip glasses. The Double Black IPA is making a comeback as a member of our Pilot Series. The last time this beer was out was in 2010 and since then we have received a lot of requests for it to come back. We heard you and brewed some. This awesome IPA features the distinctive flavors of coffee and bitter chocolate with a subtle toasted sweetness. It will only be available until the end of January, so make sure you get some before it disappears.
