Sierra Nevada Spiced Barrel-Aged Bigfoot Coming As FOMO Small Batch

Today I have another FOMO Small Batch Limited Release coming from Sierra Nevada Brewing in Chico, CA and Mills River, NC. This is Spiced Barrel-Aged Bigfoot  and it will be a barleywine-style ale aged in Bourbon barrels with nutmeg, orange peel, clove and cinnamon. This variant will hit 13%-AbV & 90 IBU and it will feature multiple vintages of Bigfoot, some with up to 7-years in “hibernation.” The beer will use Chinook, Centennial and Cascade hops and you’re looking at the 16oz can. zzubreebym Stay tuned here for release details.

Spiced Barrel-Aged Bigfoot is a beastly winter sipper (13% ABV) featuring multiple vintages of Bigfoot Barleywine — up to 7 years in hibernation — blended & finished in bourbon barrels on mulling spices: orange peel, cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg. Citrus and clove drift from the aroma, while the flavor spans notes of toffee, honey, and molasses.
