Award-Winning Allagash Tripel Gets New Format and Look / North Sky Stout

Allagash Brewing Company is proud to announce a reimagined look and format for one of its most celebrated beers. Award-winning Allagash Tripel, a Belgian-style Golden Ale, is getting a package upgrade, increasing from a four-pack to a six-pack bottle format – ideal for spirited celebrations and sharing with friends. The new format will also boast a new look, depicting a picnic table topped with beers, situated in an idyllic setting that evokes both the rolling hills of Maine and the landscapes that their brewers have seen on trips to Belgium.

“Tripel is the kind of beer that can turn everyday occasions into special occasions, so we’re evoking Tripel’s celebratory spirit with our new label and bringing more beers to the pack, giving our customers the opportunity to invite more friends to enjoy our take on an iconic Belgian style of beer,” said Jason Perkins, Brewmaster at Allagash.

The redesign comes on the heels of the beer’s latest accolades: Allagash Tripel was awarded the Gold Medal in the Belgian-style Tripel category of the 2022 World Beer Cup that took place in early May. The beer carries notes of passion fruit and honey in the aroma, and a hint of biscuit in its varied palate complete with a complex, yet dry finish. Tripel is brewed with Allagash’s 2-row barley blend, hopped with Nugget and Hallertau, and then fermented with yeast made in house.

Also launching in bottled six-packs just in time for summer cookout and picnic season is North Sky, one of the brewery’s core offerings. This silky Belgian-inspired stout, inspired by late evenings spent around a crackling campfire, boasts a taste that balances light notes of fruit and sweetness with roasty malt.

Both Tripel (9% ABV) and North Sky (7.5% ABV) are shipping out to Allagash’s full distribution footprint.
