Anheuser-Busch Partners With Award-Winning Spirits Brand Los Sundays Tequila To Co-Create A New Tequila-Based Seltzer

From Anheuser-Busch:

July 6, 2023 (New York, NY ) – Today, Anheuser-Busch announces its partnership with award winning California-based tequila brand Los Sundays to co-create a new line of tequila-based ready-to-drink hard seltzers, joining Anheuser-Busch’s Beyond Beer portfolio which is a major growth driver within the industry.   zzubreebym

Tequila and ready-to-drink cocktails are large, fast-growing categories. With over 246% growth in the tequila seltzer segment since 2020 (Circana (IRI) last 52 Weeks ending 11/27/2022), Los Sundays Tequila Seltzers will provide consumers with more of the products they are looking for within a burgeoning segment of the industry.

“The team at Los Sundays has created an incredible brand that consumers love,” said Fabricio Zonzini, Beyond Beer President, Anheuser-Busch. “We’re committed to strengthening our portfolio through a consumer-centric strategy, and Los Sundays Tequila Seltzer complements and expands upon our light and refreshing ready-to-drink offerings. We can’t wait to bring these great-tasting beverages to consumers.”

Los Sundays Tequila Seltzer is now available in select markets in 5% ABV 12 oz cans in 4 packs of Tropical and Grapefruit flavors, as well as an 8-can variety pack including Mango, Grapefruit, Tropical, and Pineapple flavors.

“Our brand stands for quality, originality and style, while always trying to lean into the fun side of things in our marketing within this category,” said Los Sundays Founder and CEO Mitchell Hayes. “We couldn’t be more excited to work with the team at Anheuser-Busch as we look to continue our shared spirit of bold innovation and consumer-centric growth.”

Just in time for summer, Los Sundays Tequila Seltzer kicked off its 360-campaign in late June. The launch features an exclusive merch capsule collection in the tequila brand’s signature style, a strong sampling program, and unique OOH to bring attention to the perfect combination – Los Sundays Tequila Seltzer and any Sunday plans.
