Prairie Artisanal Announces Aug Updates

PRAIRIE PICKLEBALL

If you’ve been to Prairie OKC anytime in the last 6 years, you’ve probably noticed a vacant space directly adjacent to the taproom seating area within the 8th Street Market.

We’ve been using it for barrel storage.

Now we’re using it for Pickleball.

The court is available to reserve online, with first availability being Monday, August 21. We’ve got Prairie branded paddles that you can rent or purchase. Pickleballs are included in the price of the court reservation.

Never played Pickleball? Me neither, but I now I work directly adjacent to a court, so I’m excited to soon become an expert.

DISTRIBUTION BEERS

We’ve had a helluva summer—and hope you have too! We dropped three Barrel Aged stouts: STUF’T (made with Oreos), PECANS IN PARADISE (made with pecans and coconut), and ESPRESSO MARTY (an Espresso Martini-inspired lil guy).

We released HEATWAVE — a sour ale with Pineapple, Mango, and Habanero.

We re-released THAI DELIGHT — a sour ale inspired by Mango Sticky Rice.

We re-released SPICY PICKLE MONSTER — because hell yes we did.

We re-released LEMON SLICE — because y’all really wanted us to (and we also love it).

We even learned of a scandalous love triangle between Blueberry Boyfriend, Watermelon Girlfriend, and… SIDE PEACH (made with gummy peach rings).

NEW BEER FRIDAY

This section of the newsletter isn’t going to appeal to all of y’all. BUT, we are going to start letting you what new beers are coming out each Friday at the Prairie OKC taproom!

We also have a short Friday morning podcast (2 minutes or less) that drops each week at 7AM that lists the new beers. It gives you something to look forward to as you brush your teeth and prepare for your Friday!

1. FOURTH QUARTER – sour ale with Gatorade… perfect for Pickleball.

2. FRUTZR (No. 17) – smoothie seltzer with strawberry, kiwi, banana, and mango.

3. THIS HOUSE IS A CIRCUS – sour ale with blueberry and pink cotton candy (because we live in a simulation and nothing matters).

WHAT’S NEW?

Lots of good stuff…

The one that you may have already seen hitting shelves is PUMPKIN PIE TREAT. This is another re-release, and it’s got pumpkin pie spices and plenty of marshmallow as well!

There’s also a new SQUEEZE beer coming your way!

So that’s good news.

We’ve also got like 6 or 7 new STOUTS to release from now until the end of the year. So… that’s also good news.
