The Bruery Adding Mélange Á Quad & 2025 Mélange Á Quad Reserve

Today I have a complicated beer blend coming from The Bruery in Placentia, CA.

This is Mélange Á Quad and it will be a blended barrel-aged beer that uses 4 base beers and 4 barrel types to pay tribute to the Mélange series. The beer uses Brandy barrel-aged Anniversary ale, Black Tuesday, Bourbon barrel-aged W.O.S., Belgian-style quadrupel ales as well as Cognac barrel-aged and Madeira barrel-aged Black Tuesday. Look for this 2024 Edition to hit 18.5%-AbV and you’re looking at the 750ml bottles. Stay tuned for release details.
