Here we have a new sour ale coming from The Bruery in Placentia, CA.

This is Bruery Terreux Boysenberries Are Blue and it will be an oaked (oak cubes) sour ale with boysenberries and sea salt. This 2024 Edition will hit 5.7%-AbV and it will be packaged in 750ml bottles. Stay tuned for release details.  zzubreebym

A NEW OAKED SOUR ALE WITH BOYSENBERRIES & SEA SALT

Throughout fermentation, oak cubes and boysenberries coalesce, leading to fragrant notes of sweet berry and gentle oak interlaced with the tartness of boysenberries. Subtle undertones of oak accentuate the berry’s brightness, while a hint of sea salt provides a balance to each sip.
