Mybeerbuzz .com Highlights Firestone Walker 8ZERO5 Non-Alcoholic Blonde Ale (Review)

I don’t review a lot of non-alcoholic beers, and not necessarily because they aren’t offered up to me, but because several of the ones I’ve tried already have really not been that great…but that all changes today. This afternoon we’re test-driving a new non-alcoholic beer from Firestone Walker and 805 Beer that I think will break the mold where NA beers are concerned.

Of course I’m talking about Firestone Walker 8ZERO5 and I think you’ll find this NA beer is very different from most other NA beers, and in a very good way.

According to Firestone Walker, “The new offering is brewed with the same dedication to quality and flavor that has made 805 Beer a staple for more than a decade. 8ZERO5 delivers the refreshing, easy-drinking experience that 805 fans know and love, now with less than 0.5% ABV and just 60 calories.

As the perfect complement to the brand’s iconic 805 Blonde Ale and 805 Cerveza, 8ZERO5 elevates any occasion and is ready to become the go-to choice for those moments that call for "zero limits." 8ZERO5 offers the same laid-back, great-tasting California vibe that 805 Beer embodies and provides a bridge to the next time you can drink alcohol.

We believe that just because a beer is non-alcoholic, it doesn’t mean it should be any less satisfying. With 8ZERO5, we’re thrilled to offer our fans, drinkers, and athletes an 805 Beer for the non-alcohol occasion,” said Dustin Hinz, Chief Marketing Officer for Firestone Walker Brewing Company. “Whether it’s from the paddle out to the podium, the flow state to the zen den, when the moment calls for zero limits, drinkers can now reach for an 8ZERO5.”

This beer has been under development by our pal Matt Brynildson at Firestone Walker for over 2-years, and naturally I can’t wait to try it, so off we go…

Overall:  I should say it right up front…Firestone Walker 8ZERO5 has changed my opinion of NA beers. This beer is crisp, clean, easy drinking and really satisfying; and overall I think most people would never even know they were drinking a low-calorie NA beer. Before you discount NA beers, try this beer from Firestone Walker & 805 beer. It’s a great beer that just happens to be non-alcoholic.

Firestone Walker 8ZERO5 is available now in 12oz canned 6-packs as well as on draft so get out there and try one for yourself…and when you do try it, be sure to let us know what YOU think.  zzubreebym
