Anheuser-Busch Wins Its Record-Breaking 15th USA Today Ad Meter & Celebrates Beer’s Biggest Night at Super Bowl LIX

From Anheuser-Busch:

February 12, 2025, St. Louis, MO  – Each year, consumers take to the USA Today Ad Meter to vote for their favorite Super Bowl ads and once again, Anheuser-Busch’s industry leading brands dominated the list.

Budweiser clinched the coveted #1 spot (Bud’s ninth #1 finish) and all four of Anheuser-Busch’s eligible ads placed in the top 7 out of 57 total Super Bowl ads (Budweiser #1, Michelob ULTRA #3, Stella Artois #4, Bud Light #7). This is the brewer’s record-breaking 15th win in Ad Meter’s 37-year history – more than any other company.

Said Kyle Norrington, Chief Commercial Officer, Anheuser-Busch, “It’s a privilege to be stewards of these iconic brands and see them come to life through world-class advertisements, dynamic in-market displays, and events and activations across the U.S. We’re proud to lead the American beer industry year after year by investing in moments like this that celebrate beer and delight consumers. This prestigious recognition goes far beyond marketing – it’s a testament to the 65,000 hardworking Americans who produce, market, and sell the country’s favorite beers day in and day out.”

Anheuser-Busch was the top advertiser in the game with five ads and four total minutes of airtime that reached millions of consumers while fans celebrated with A-B beverages in hand in living rooms, bars and restaurants across the U.S.

Anheuser-Busch brands drove 25X more media news than any other alcohol brand that ran an advertisement in the game, earning “best of” rankings across leading consumer news, lifestyle, sports, and entertainment publications. On social media, Anheuser-Busch brands drove 37X more conversations than any other alcohol advertiser and to date, have accounted for 23% of all public social media mentions across all Super Bowl LIX conversations.

The nation’s top brewer continues to drive the positive momentum of the American beer industry, fueled by these unprecedented Super Bowl results, the two fastest-growing beers in the industry – Michelob ULTRA and Busch Light – and the overwhelming positive response and reaction to CEO Brendan Whitworth’s letter – The Call for American Beers – from wholesaler partners, retailers, entertainment venues, growers, industry analysts, and others.

That’s Who We Are.
