Von Ebert Brewing Expands N. Miss. Location Hours for NFL Sunday Games, Opens at 10 a.m.
Von Ebert Brewing expands Sunday hours for NFL football
Football starts earlier on the West Coast, and Von Ebert Brewing is making it easier for Portland fans to settle in before kickoff by opening its N. Mississippi taproom at 10 a.m. on Sundays instead of noon. That extra time means more NFL action on the big screens, more time with friends, and a chance to grab a Clubhaus Lager before the games get rolling, which is a pretty straightforward move for a brewery that wants its taproom to be part of the Sunday routine.
Game day starts earlier. And the beer deal is hard to ignore. Von Ebert Brewing’s award-winning Clubhaus Lager is a 4% ABV American light lager that won gold at the World Beer Cup, International Beer Awards and Great American Beer Festival, and the brewery is keeping a 20-ounce mug at just $3 all day, every day. That gives fans a wallet-friendly option for a long afternoon of football, whether they’re watching the Buffalo Bills, following a West Coast team or just looking for a place to catch the games without spending the whole day at home.
There’s more to the N. Mississippi taproom than beer and screens, too. HarBQ brings smoked meats and sides to the Sunday setup, making it a natural stop for barbecue and football, while Von Ebert’s Boost, Flow and Chill sparkling hop waters offer non-alcoholic choices for people who want something crisp and hop-forward without the alcohol. Boost brings citrus flavor and caffeine,
Flow leans tropical with electrolytes, and Chill uses berry and floral notes with lavender and chamomile. A broader lineup, a bigger production facility and distribution reaching beyond Oregon all show that Von Ebert is growing, but this is a simple local move that gives people another reason to visit the taproom.
Von Ebert Brewing is extending Sunday hours at its N. Mississippi location in Portland so NFL fans can start their game-day visits at 10 a.m., and the brewery has shared the details on its Clubhaus Lager deal, food options and other drinks in the announcement below.
Von Ebert Brewing’s N. Miss. Street location is now open on Sundays at 10 a.m. instead of noon so football fans can catch more games.
PORTLAND, Ore. — With football season underway, Von Ebert Brewing is extending its hours at the N. Mississippi location (825 N. Cook St., Portland) on Sundays to open at 10 a.m. instead of noon so football fans can spend even more of their day watching games on the big screen in the taproom.
“Whether you’re a Bills fan or not, we want you to enjoy your team’s game at Von Ebert Brewing’s N. Mississippi taproom and here on the West Coast, that sometimes means an early game,” said Sam Pecoraro, brewmaster at Von Ebert Brewing and huge Buffalo Bills fan. “Von Ebert Brewing’s gold-medal-winning Clubhaus Lager is the perfect game day beer, clocking in at 4% ABV and you won’t find a better value at just $3 for a 20-ounce mug all-day, every day. We also have our non-alcohol sparkling hop waters, Boost, Flow and Chill, and much more.”
And tonight, Von Ebert Brewing will be showing the Seattle Seahawks vs. Denver Broncos for Thursday Night Football at 5:15 p.m.
Last year, Von Ebert Brewing won three gold medals for Clubhaus Lager at the World Beer Cup, International Beer Awards and the Great American Beer Festival, proving you can have a flavorful, craft light lager on a budget at 4% ABV. And if you’re not a beer fan, Von Ebert Brewing now offers hard seltzers and punches, as well as non-alcohol sparkling hop waters. The three non-alcohol sparkling hop waters, available in 12-ounce cans, are meant to be drunk at three distinct parts of the day. For mornings,
Boost Hop Water is citrus flavored with 70 milligrams of caffeine. Flow Hop Water, with tropical favors, has electrolytes to help you get through the afternoon. And Chill Hop Water, with berry and floral flavors, is brewed with lavender and chamomile to unwind before bed.
On Sundays, the N. Mississippi location is also home to critically acclaimed food truck, HarBQ, selling delicious smoked meats and sides, the perfect pairing for beer and football games. Check their Instagram to see if they’re also doing breakfast sandwiches to help start your game day.
The new brewing facility off N. Mississippi allows Von Ebert Brewing production and distribution to go from 4,000 barrels per year to as much as 20,000 barrels per year and it’s more than halfway there adding new offerings. Von Ebert Brewing now sells more of its products in 12-ounce and 16-ounce cans and expanded its distribution throughout Oregon, Washington, Colorado, California and Japan.

Von Ebert Brewing was founded in 2018 by Tom M. Cook and Tom S. Cook in Portland, Oregon. Von Ebert Brewing is named after the family matriarch lovingly referred to as “Grandma Ebert.” The quintessential immigrant story, Grandma Ebert came to America from Germany via Ellis Island and relied on her grit and determination to create a successful life for her family here in the states. In that vein, the brewery has displayed those same traits and gained success through numerous World Beer Cup medals: 2025 Gold American Light Lager with Clubhaus, 2023 Gold German-Style Pilsner with Pils and 2024 Bronze Vienna Lager.
Our moniker celebrates Grandma’s tenacity and honors our heritage. Von Ebert translates loosely to “House of Ebert” or in full English, “House of the Boar.”
