Brewery Ommegang Little Leaf IPA and Blackberry Bungalow Are Coming Soon

This morning, I have your first look at two new beers coming soon from Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, New York, and this pairing gives craft beer fans two very different reasons to be interested. The new lineup includes Little Leaf, an American IPA arriving at 5.9% ABV, and Blackberry Bungalow, a 6.0% ABV stout brewed with blackberry.

Brewery Ommegang New Beers:

Brewery Ommegang Little Leaf is clearly aimed at IPA drinkers looking for a familiar American-style hop-forward beer. The label identifies Little Leaf as an American IPA and an India Pale Ale, with the beer coming in at 5.9% ABV. The 12-ounce packaging also gives Little Leaf a convenient format for beer drinkers who want to explore another IPA from the Cooperstown brewery.

On the darker side of the new release is Brewery Ommegang Blackberry Bungalow, a fruited stout that combines dark, toasted malt character with blackberry puree. According to the label, the beer delivers earthy blackberry sweetness with a bright, tangy edge, while roasted chocolate notes add depth. At 6.0% ABV, Blackberry Bungalow remains relatively approachable for a flavored stout, while lactose contributes to the beer’s creamy character.

The label describes Blackberry Bungalow as a “cozy winter escape,” making the beer particularly interesting as the calendar moves toward cooler weather. The combination of blackberry, roasted malt, chocolate character and lactose should give this Brewery Ommegang stout a distinctly dessert-like personality without pushing the alcohol level into imperial stout territory.

Together, Brewery Ommegang Little Leaf and Brewery Ommegang Blackberry Bungalow demonstrate the range that has become increasingly familiar from Brewery Ommegang. The Cooperstown brewery has long been associated with Belgian-inspired brewing, but its portfolio has also moved confidently into IPAs, lagers, sour beers, barrel-aged releases and other modern craft beer styles.

The two new beers also arrive shortly after Brewery Ommegang’s recently revealed Susky Pils, another 12-ounce canned release at 4.2% ABV. MyBeerBuzz recently reported on Susky Pils as part of Ommegang’s continued expansion into approachable, packaged beers.
