Great Lakes Intros New Biergarten Party Pack, Fall Seasonals
GREAT LAKES BREWING CO. INTRODUCES FALL SEASONAL LINEUP
Biergarten Party Pack Debuts, Oktoberfest and Limited Releases Return
CLEVELAND, July 28, 2026 — Great Lakes Brewing Co. (GLBC) announces its fall lineup, anchored by seasonal favorite Oktoberfest and the new Biergarten Party Pack, alongside returning Joe Thomas-collaboration 73 Kolsch in select markets, and Nosferatu Double Red IPA.
Celebrated Oktoberfest Returns
Often heralded as an exemplar of the style, the brewery’s seasonal Oktoberfest returns to all markets this August in a wide variety of packages including cans, bottles, and draft. In 2025, GLBC’s popular 6.5% craft Marzen was the #2 selling craft Oktoberfest in the Midwest region, and a top 5 craft Oktoberfest nationally (Nielsen).
In its home market, the brewery returns as the Official Craft Beer Sponsor of Cleveland Oktoberfest, Cleveland’s largest annual outdoor event, taking place September 4-7 and 11-12.
Biergarten Party Pack Debuts
Following in the footsteps of its 2026 seasonal predecessors Irish Party Pack and Sunshine Party Pack, the new Biergarten Party Pack Variety 12-Pack releases to all markets this August. Anchored by “super seasonal” Oktoberfest, the pack also includes two exciting new brews: a 4.9% ABV Bavarian-inspired German Pils, and 6.1% ABV Apple Pie Eliot Ness Amber Lager. German Pils carries on GLBC’s traditions as a highly respected lager brewery. First served as a limited infusion at brewery events, Apple Pie Eliot Ness features autumnal apple pie spice flavors to complement its smooth, rich malt body. A blend of heritage, tradition, and innovation, Biergarten Party Pack highlights seasonal flavors crafted for fall celebrations.
Biergarten Party Pack is the third of the brewery’s new Seasonal Variety Packs for 2026. GLBC’s Seasonal Variety Pack is the #1 new craft SKU in Ohio Food YTD, and a top four Variety Pack.
GLBC CEO Chris Brown says, “Our seasonal variety packs have been a huge win for 2026. The packs lead with our strength in seasonal brands like Oktoberfest, and our consumer is loving the seasonally appropriate pack-exclusive brews. Biergarten Party Pack is a perfect example. It’s got an already beloved seasonal, a new German-inspired craft pils, and a classic Great Lakes legacy brand with a fun fall flavor twist. It’s a winning combo for the fall marketplace. These variety packs have become so popular, we are working hard to keep up with demand, so we’re telling customers to get it while you can.”
