Tröegs Introduces Night Gazer Extra Stout to Year-Round Lineup
I brought you a peek at this beer back in Nov 2025, and now this full update from Tröegs Independent Brewing in Hershey, Pennsylvania:
HERSHEY, PA – Tröegs Independent Brewing announces the release of Night Gazer Extra Stout. The new beer joins the brewery’s year-round lineup alongside such popular beers including Perpetual IPA, Troegenator Double Bock, and Graffiti Highway IPA.
“We’ve always been mindful about offering a diversity of styles in our year-round line up,” explains Tröegs co-founding brother and brewmaster John Trogner. “Night Gazer brings something new and delicious for dark beer lovers.”
At the core of Night Gazer is a complex malt bill combining pale, dark and specialty malts with flaked oats to impart rich flavors of roasted coffee, cocoa, and toffee.
Columbus and Simcoe hops chime in with a touch of bitterness, and house ale yeast gives the beer that signature Tröegs finish.
“We’ve been brewing stouts for as long as Tröegs has been around, and Night Gazer is based on some of our favorite early recipes,” adds Trogner.
Clocking in at 7.1% ABV, Night Gazer is an expansive beer for your celestial musings and will serve as your guiding light to the cosmos.
Originally released as a brewery exclusive, Night Gazer Extra Stout is now available on draft and in 12-oz. bottles across the Tröegs’ entire distribution footprint.
Beer drinkers can track down Night Gazer and other Tröegs beers near them using the Tröegs Brew Finder.
