Pabst Releasing Godzilla-Themed 99 Pack
This big packa are really catching on, and now here’s one from Pabst…and if 99 cans of beer isn’t enough fun, how about Godzilla-themed packaging. Just in time for the big game, today we have some details courtesy of Pabst Brewing:
Key Details from Press Releases:
Partnership: PBR teamed with Toho International (Godzilla’s owners).
Artwork: Featured hand-carved linoleum block prints by official Godzilla artist Attack Peter (Peter Santa-Maria).
Availability: Launched in Fall 2025 (October).
Packaging: Covered over 60 million cans and boxes, with larger packs (like 99-packs) containing various monster designs.
Special Feature: Some cans had a blue glow effect when cold.
“It’s not our style to spend millions of dollars for a few seconds of airtime during the big game,” says Rachel Keeton, Senior Brand Director of Pabst Blue Ribbon. “Instead, we’re getting in on the post-season action in a way our drinkers can have some fun with. The Godzilla 99pk is here to loudly crash tailgates and watch parties everywhere.”
“This collaboration represents the intersection of pop culture, art, and lifestyle. Seeing the Godzilla universe come to life across an entire 99 Pack is something we’re incredibly proud of, and it speaks to the brand’s continued evolution,” said Kristin Parcell, General Manager of Toho International. “Working with Pabst Blue Ribbon and ATTACK PETER gave us an opportunity to reimagine how fans engage with Godzilla beyond the screen and we’re excited for fans to experience this original artwork in such a unique way.”
Pabst Blue Ribbon has released a limited-edition, collectible 99-pack of beer featuring new Godzilla artwork by artist ATTACK Peter, which began hitting stores in early 2026. This highly limited release is part of a larger collaboration with Toho International to celebrate Godzilla’s 70th anniversary.
