Double Mountain Winter Seasonal Beers are Now Available

Winter is settling in here in the Gorge; nighttime is starting early, the rainy season has arrived, and with this comes the return of two Double Mountain favorites, brewed to help this cold and damp season feel extra cozy and warm. Double Mountain is excited to announce this year’s two winter releases: Hey, Porter! Robust Porter and the always-anticipated Fa La La La La Winter Ale, both of which are designed to bring a little warmth, brightness, and Northwest cheer to your glass!


Hey, Porter! Robust Porter is the quintessential winter companion. Its dark garnet-black pour invites you to slow down, settle in, and savor the season. The style brings a comforting roastiness reminiscent of a warm hearth, with aromas of coffee, toasted hazelnuts, and rich toffee, flavors that pair perfectly with a wool blanket, a good book, or a fireside chat. 


The Fa La La La La Winter Ale is perfect for festive gatherings, slow walks through frosty streets, or quiet moments by the fire. With Centennial hops at the forefront, this IPA fills the nose with vibrant notes of evergreen, pine, and citrus zest, all scents that evoke crisp winter mornings and holiday cheer. A refined malt bill, including Pilsner, Crystal, and Red X, creates a ruby-hued body that’s rich in color but light in mouthfeel, letting the hops shine without overwhelming the palate. Late and dry hop additions give this ale a lively, aromatic lift, while a crisp, lingering bitterness balances the sweetness of the malts, making it a beer that encourages conversation, laughter, and sharing.

Ah. Breathe that Northwest air. The light is fading, but them trains are working hard to deliver that dark roast coffee, hazelnut, toffee, and toast aromas to brighten the work day. Robust, clean, and dry, this porter will deliver what you need, right on time.

Fa La La La La
Winter Ale
7.5% ABV | 85 BU


Centennial hops take the reins with evergreen and ripe citrus, with a resounding chorus of Pilsner, Crystal, and Red X malts echoing the refrain. This IPA is full of love, goodwill, and is as crisp as a bluebird winter morning. Peace, love, and beers!
