Participating Applebee’s Honors Heroes with “Buy a Veteran a Beer” Campaign

Guests invited to show appreciation for service members October 20–November 11

RICHMOND, Virginia, Oct. 15, 2025 — This fall, Potomac Family Dining Group, an Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar franchisee, is raising a glass to America’s heroes through its Buy a Veteran a Beer campaign, running from October 20 through November 11, 2025. Potomac Family Dining Group has 45 Applebee’s locations throughout Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. The program gives guests a simple, meaningful way to thank the brave men and women of the U.S. military, both active duty and veterans, for their service.

Guests can participate by pre-purchasing a $5 beer during their visit between October 20 and November 10. Each beer purchased will be gifted to a Veteran or active-duty service member on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, to enjoy alongside Applebee’s traditional complimentary Veterans Day meal.

When guests participate, they’ll receive a coaster to personalize with a handwritten note of gratitude. These heartfelt messages will be presented to Veterans along with their complimentary beer creating a moment of connection and appreciation between community members.

Each participating Potomac-Applebee’s location will distribute pre-purchased beers on Veterans Day while supplies last, ensuring every eligible guest, age 21 or older, receives both a cold beer and a warm message of thanks from the community they protect.
