Brock Street Brewing Company, a brewery in Whitby, Ontario, has permanently closed due to market challenges. The company, which launched in 2015, was known for its small-batch, all-natural craft beers and unique historical building that housed a restaurant, bottle shop, and private lounge. It also produced small-batch spirits like vodka and gin. 

Closure: 
The brewery announced its closure on October 10, 2025, citing market challenges and thanking its customers and community for their support, notes Instagram and Durham Radio News. 

Products: 
They produced a variety of craft beers, including a Blonde Ale, Irish Red, and Lagered Blonde, and also made their own small-batch vodka and gin. 

Location and building: 
The brewery’s flagship location was at 244 Brock St. South in Whitby, and it featured a unique, historic design with features like antique lighting and reclaimed brick. The building included an 8,000-square-foot brewery, a bottle shop, a restaurant (12welve Bistro & Tapwerks), and a private members’ lounge. 

Community involvement: 
The company was committed to supporting local sports teams, community events, and helping to restore the historic downtown area of Whitby.
