Fat Head’s Twin Events: ‘Night-Beer Before Christmas’ and ‘Haunted Hops Festival’ Bring Chills, Thrills & Goodwill to Brewery Visitors
MIDDLEBURG HTS., Ohio, October 7, 2025 – Fat Head’s Brewery announced two holiday-themed events for the second half of October that will keep its main Middleburg Hts. location abuzz in the early days of Autumn. Kicking things off in the Beer Hall on Monday, October 20, from 630p-830p will be a Holly Jolly Christmas Ale release party titled ‘A Night-Beer Before Christmas.’ Later in the month, the focus will be Halloween and Fall fun on Thursday, October 30th, from 630p-830p (also in the Beer Hall) with the spooky ‘Haunted Hops Festival.’
For a number of reasons, the ‘Night-Beer Before Christmas’ event will be something special – chief among them is the good cause it will be supporting. Long-time Fat Head’s bartender/server Chris Williams was diagnosed with congestive heart failure a few years back and at an exceptionally young age. To help Chris with the challenging medical costs following his recent surgery, the brewery will be collecting donations at its host stand. For every $5 in cash donated, customers receive a raffle ticket for a chance to pour the ceremonial first Holly pint of the year.
This feel-good event will also mark the Middleburg Heights. Beer Hall returning to Monday service, with ongoing hours of 12pm – 9pm. Additional adult-centric activities will include beer-themed ornament making, an opportunity to ‘Meet the Brewers’ (including founder Matt Cole), guided brewery tours, and a ‘Mad Scientist’ Beer Tasting in the lab led by the Quality Control team.
‘Haunted Hops Festival’ will take place the evening before Halloween and feature a variety of 21+ and kid-friendly activities, including a Scavenger Hunt, Mummy Wrapping; Trick-or-Treating, a Candy Grab with Gift Shop discount-prizing, mini-pumpkin painting, and a costume contest for adults, kids, and even dogs. Front and center will be Spooky Tooth Imperial Pumpkin Ale – a seasonal staple of the brewery – as well as a themed specialty cocktail and food menu.
