Tröegs Releasing Scratch # 540 Dark IPA

I’m excited to see a resurgence in Black/Dark IPAs, and this one is coming from Tröegs Independent Brewing in Hershey, Pennsylvania:

New Scratch beer alert! We’re drifting over to the far reaches of the IPA spectrum with Scratch #540. Starting with a roasty foundation of malted barley and wheat, this dusky ale combines Citra, Simcoe and Mosaic hops to lend juicy, fruit-forward notes of blood orange and papaya. Dry-hopping with more Citra and Simcoe intensifies the aroma with bold citrus notes. Don’t be afraid to join us on the dark side!
