Abita Brewing Working On 40th Anniversary Honey Blonde Ale, Mango Wheat

Happy upcoming 40th Anniversary to Abita Brewing in Abita Springs, Louisiana. To help celebrate their birthday in 2026, Abita will be creating this Limited Release 40th Anniversary commemorative brew. The beer will be a honey blonde ale to celebrate 1986-2026 and it will roll in at 8%-AbV. Look for Abita Brewing 40th Anniversary to be packaged in these 12oz bottles and stay tuned for 2026 release details. I’ve also added in Mango Wheat (4.2%-AbV, 12-oz cans) & Peach Lager (4.2%-AbV, 12-oz cans).

The Abita Brewing Company is nestled in the piney woods 30 miles north of New Orleans, Louisiana. In its first year, the brewery produced 1,500 barrels of beer. We had no idea what we started. Local Louisianians and tourists alike, all loved our beers! By 1994, we outgrew the original site (Still open as a 100-seat brew pub and restaurant) and moved up the road to a larger facility to keep up with demand.

Today…

we are still brewing exceptional ales and lagers but also small batch root beer, sodas, hop water and whatever else we are inspired to brew! Always in small batches, hand-crafted and brewed for the Louisiana way of life, full flavored and easy drinking. Our local pride, along with our brewing process and years of experience, are what makes our one of a kind beverages so good.
