Our brewery has worked with Sugarpine Drive-In to create Shandy River, a Yuzu Shandy that captures summer’s rays by skillfully blending a crisp rice lager base with our yuzu lemon soda—a lively refresher bound for river, trail, and backyard adventures. 


Shandy River is a tribute to Oregon’s summer river culture. With Sugarpine adjacent to the glacier-fed Sandy River in Troutdale, and Block 15 to Marys and the Willamette Rivers in Corvallis, we wanted to produce something light to carry along during the hot days of summer.

Ice Knife is back at Block 15 locations this Friday. This 7.00% West Cost IPA amplifies the most vibrant factions of sticky & pungent hop characters with a razor-sharp hop showcase of bright citrus peel oils & dense resin.


Brewed with cutting-edge hop technologies, CO2 extracted Salvo™ and cryogenically frozen Strata CGX™. Crosby Hops CGX (cryo processed hop pellets) pack a considerable punch in this west-coast IPA. Ice Knife was named as a reference to cutting-edge hop technologies, this was one of the first beers we used cryogenically frozen Strata and Comet CGX™ from Crosby Hops in the recipe – and we’ve been super happy with the results since!

About Block 15 Brewery:

Block 15 was conceived by local beer lovers Nick and Kristen Arzner. After years of traveling, brewing, cooking, and dreaming, they were inspired to share these passions with their local community. Block 15 Restaurant & Brewery was created to offer Corvallis unique, from-the-source artisan beer alongside handmade pub food produced from local ingredients—all served in a friendly, casual atmosphere.

Since opening in 2008, Block 15 has grown to include a production brewery & Taproom in South Corvallis, a Downtown Pub (where it all started), a Northwest meets European-inspired restaurant, Caves Corvallis, and a Distribution Team for the PNW. Our family has grown to over one hundred hard-working individuals that positively reflect our community. Over the years, we have stayed true to our initial vision while evolving in the endless pursuit of the perfect pint, plate of food, and space to share it in.
