Anheuser-Busch Delivered More Than 50,000 Cans of Emergency Drinking Water to South Texas to Support Flood Relief Efforts

April 7, 2025 – At the request of the American Red Cross, Anheuser-Busch delivered one truckload – more than 50,000 cans – of emergency drinking water to support South Texas residents after extreme flooding threatened supplies of safe drinking water in the Rio Grande Valley.

The donation of emergency drinking water was delivered to Anheuser-Busch wholesaler partner, L&F Distributors LLC, based in Harlingen, Texas, which is working alongside the American Red Cross to distribute the resources to community members and organizations in need.

“The American Red Cross is thankful for the continued support of Anheuser-Busch and L&F Distributors LLC in providing emergency drinking water to communities in need,” said Lauren Ulrich, Executive Director of Operations Management and Logistics for the American Red Cross. “Their generosity and quick response following the devastating floods in Texas helps ensure that those affected have access to safe, clean water during this critical time.”

The 50,000+ cans of water were sourced from Anheuser-Busch’s brewery in Cartersville, Georgia, which alongside the Fort Collins, Colorado brewery, periodically pauses beer production to can emergency drinking water and help communities in times of disaster.

The donation of emergency drinking water was delivered to Anheuser-Busch wholesaler partner, Standard Sales Company, based in Louisville, Kentucky, which is working alongside the American Red Cross to distribute the resources to community members and organizations in need.
