Friday BeerBuzz–The Teaser 11 Feb 2011

Last week we welcomed Brian Boak from Boaks Beer (Popmton Lakes, NJ) into the studio for the Friday BeerBuzz.  Brian started with a $25 Linens and Things Mr Beer kit back in 1999 and less than 10 years later, we’re sitting in the studio sampling his Two Blind Monks, Monster Mash, Double BW, Wooden Beanie, and a special version of Ice-Monster-Mash.  Amazing brews and and a message of hope for all home brewers out there wanting to take the next step.

I’d like to thank Brian, as well as Chuck Greenstreet from Stockertown Beverage for organizing the visit, and Krugel’s Georgetown Deli & Beer for hosting a sampling night…we all had a great time and everyone enjoyed the Boaks beers.

So what will we be sampling THIS week?  Hint:  This week we’re pulling out one of my all time favorite beers AND welcoming the brewmaster on the show as well.  As an added hint, I’d say, “don’t miss this show!”
