Even so, on Friday night Dogfish Head ran out of beer for the night at 10:30 p.m. – having served 11,000 pints – the pop-up brewery shut down 15 minutes later. Adam Lambert of Dogfish said they sold 39 half barrels – 4,300 pints – of Firefly Ale Friday and expected to do the same Saturday. It’s selling at twice the rate of other Dogfish brands, he said.
