Mike Magoulas, the chief executive officer of Boulevard Brewing, has left the company after 15 months at the helm, an apparent casualty of its purchase by Belgian brewer Duvel Moortgat.

Magoulas, who became CEO at Boulevard in September 2012 after working as regional vice president for MillerCoors, left at the end of December after the conclusion of Duvel’s acquisition of the 25-year-old Kansas City brewery.
